I have an iPod touch 5g and am on iOS 6.0.1 . I sometimes experience built in apps like Camera and the App Store crash for no reason :( Does any else have random apps that keep crashing ? I also restart and reset but the problem later comes back. It doesn't happen like every second but they crash randomly at any time. So is this a bug in iOS 6.0.1? Thanks!

Some app crashing is normal but yours sounds like something is wrong.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
Thank you for ur suggestions. So far no apps have crashed but im on the lookout. I checked diagnostics and usage and found that I had some low memory problems and it said The App store was the largest process. This confuses me because i always close my background apps so i should have plenty of memory. Can't find anything on why camera sometimes crashes though. There are also other reasons for low memory on my diagnostics and usage page but idk what they mean.
To free up memory you have to periodically close all not-running/background apps (you seem to be doing that) and power off and then back on the iPod.
The weird thing is, is that the crashes usually happen when I have little or no background apps :/. But thank you I will try your tips
