anyone with the same problem?
Nope - mine's just as cool as can be after sleep. What kind of temps do you see when you first awaken the sleeping giant?
not crazy warm like when CPU runs at 100% but definitely too warm for a morning wake up!
Check your temps on first awakening - the MBP should have been in a cooling off mode when asleep. You can use something like iStat Menus 4 to check your temps.
ok let me have a better understanding of what the problem is with Istat.
But ideally I want to fix this.
You can at least see what your 'waking' temps are - let's just go from there...
Thanks Clinton for helping.
Ill come back later with temps at wake up then.
So at wake up CPU die was still over 60°C, the computer was warm and fan speed at around 2000rpm like yesterday during the whole day.
Same problem. anything else I shall check?
The fans are right, but the temps are too high - I wonder if it's actually 'sleeping'? The best thing now would be to take the machine to yur local Apple Store or an AASP and have them diagnosis the machine. It could be anything...
Sorry we couldn't fix it from this end...
No worries. Thanks Clinton
