OS X 10.4 and iPhoto

Running a power PC iMac with OS X 10.4.

iPhoto has stopped responding correctly so I want to upgrade my OS so I can upgrade my iPhoto version and rebuild my photo library. What's the latest OS I can install?

Any help and advice would be most appreciated. 😕

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

If you're using a G3, 10.4.11.

If you're using a G4 or G5, 10.5.8.
