iPad backups

I am considering getting the battery changed in my iPad 3 and learned from Apple site that I can back up my data with iCloud or iTunes. Is it possible to back up with both?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1

Hi Diavonex,

If you don't mind, I had another question: If I choose to backup my iPad with iiTunes, do I need to turn off my iCloud backup? If so, can I turn the iCloud back on after my iTunes backup?
