I recently 'upgraded' to ML and since then if I click the universally recognised eject symbol next to a drive in the 'My Computer' folder,
instead of ejecting it, it attempts to renamed the drive as if I had pressed enter which is less than useful, if I wanted to rename it I'd have pressed enter.
Is there anyway to fix this new behaviour or is it one of the new 'features'?

I get the same behaviour, and noticed it for a while. I've filed a bug report (Bug ID# 12843119.). I don't think there is anything we can do until this bug is fixed in a future OS X update.

Same problem in list view. Apple, please do something!
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
