I want to upgrade my 500GB HDD in my MBP MID-2012 model to a 1TB HDD, the trouble is, I don't know which one fits in my laptop and I don't want to buy until I know for sure if one fits?

I want to upgrade my 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM in my MBP MID-2012 model to a 1TB HDD and 8GB RAM, the trouble is, I don't know which one fits in my laptop and I don't want to buy until I know for sure if one fits?

Please help me chose the exact one which will fit me.

There are dozens of 1TB drives that will 'fit' - just make sure that they're 2.5" drives, 9.5mm 'thick'.

I don't like Western Digital but there are plenty of other brands out there.

I would recommend shopping at Crucial or OWC for both your new drive and RAM.
