Looking for simple way to understand photo stream, my photo stream, storing photos on icloud, albums, camera roll, etc.
iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1
Take a photo with one device.
The device puts it in the Camera Roll.
It is also cited to PhotoStream.
You can then run the Photos app on the other device.
View PhotoStream in that other device and you'll see the photos there.
To save the photo on the second device share it from the PhotoStream to the Camera Roll on the second device.

You take a pic and it automatically goes to PhotoStream. You don't have to do anything on that end. When using the second devices you look at the PhotoStream and copy the photos you want to save. Seems pretty easy to me.
