Sorry for a dumb question...

is there a way to change the forlder icons in the finder ? And if so how can i do it?

If you use "get info" on the folder you want to change then click on the icon in the get info window, you can paste the new icon there.
A nice software solution for changing icons is CandyBar.

which icon...? the one on the top left or the big one in the preview section...

I'm completely new to mac's.I've downloaded the software but for the time beeing i can't buy it...so i want to get this done without third parties software.
