Why will the setup wizard not appear?

I have plugged in my 5th generation ipod touch and it is recognized as a camera but the setup wizard will not show. Help please!!

iPod touch, iOS 6

I did not know it recognized it as a camera. Sometimes device drivers install automatically. If you are running windows, did you look in scanners and cameras?
