Well, if it is not, then why when I clicked on more storage for iCloud did it refer me to JustCloud.....I am confused on this....the linked actually took me to JustCloud and feeling a little nervousness I thought I would ask. JustCloud is offering free space, iCloud wants $20.00 per year.
What I can't figure out to do is get into my iCloud account and delete photo's and such that I have backed up to my computer and then to CD's.
Any insight to the JustCloud dilemma and the iCloud account would be greatly appreciated....

Just cloud is just storage space in the cloud that you upload files that can be shared by various devices, you pay for it by subscription. The important part to remember is that it is a files and folders system, much the same as putting files on and taking them off a hard drive that is shared by everything.
iCloud is a free service with a free 5 GB of storage (ample for many), you still store your files on it and share them between your various devices, but files are accessed through the application rather than a folder system, just as you would on an iOS device. It is also used to keep much of your personal information such as contacts, calendars etc in sync between all your devices, it also includes a free IMAP mail account.
i use both these models for different things, but use Dropbox instead of just cloud.
So what is Dropbox?
I'm asking this because I keep getting an email saying my iCloud has run out of storage. I have most things **** off on both iPhone and iPad....so I'm not understanding the lack of storage space...

Dropbox is another 3rd party cloud storage solution, it works like just cloud, but you pay for it differently.
You can see what is stored in your iCloud storage from settings > iCloud > storage & back up > manage storage on an iOS device or system preferences > iCloud > manage on a Mac.
No - iCLoud is a free Apple service - Just Cloud is a commercial cloud backup that is really a bait and switch scheme - stay away from just Cloud
