Syncing Ring Tones to iPhone

I have synced my iPhone with iTunes; the tones show up both in my "Tone" section of iTunes, as well as the "Tones" section of my iPhone....but are not on my actual phone when I look at it. I've tried unchecking the Sync Tones box, then syncing, then checking it again, and resyncing it again. Nothing showing up still. Any ideas?
