Hello. I would like to know whether iErase ensures that the deleted photos sms e.t.c are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. I am asking you because I intend selling my iphone 4s and I want to be sure that my deleted data (sms, mails, photos) can not be recovered.

To erase all data, with iPhone by itself, tap Settings App > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Done. If you want iTunes to do it, then connect iPhone to iTunes 10.7 or 11 and click Restore. Done. (do not click update, click restore)
Thank you very much for your answer. I have done these things already and I used iErase afterwards in order to be sure that data cannot be recovered. However, when I used a free software from the internet that recovers deleted sms I was able to recover some msgs and this is the reason I was concerned and I asked you whether iErase is a reliable tool.

Contact the developer of iErase and inquire why the tool is not doing what it claims to do.
