Q: Apple tv Air mirroring

I have tried all the parameters like mac book pro late 2011....all software updates installed on Lion ....latest apple tv installed....but still no air play mirroring icon showing?

Mac Pro, iOS 6.0.1

id you don't have mtn lion and one of the macs on this list

it will only work if you buy the program called airparrot

Mirror is on Mountain Lion, a new purchase from the app store not an update of lion.
