Terminal vs iTerm
I am migrating from being a Windows/Linux user. For the longest time I have used PuTTY for all of my terminal needs. Now that I am a Mac user I want do the Mac thing (whatever that means). I have used both Terminal and iTerm. They both have features that I like.
For example, in Terminal you can split the window and have the scrollback in a separate frame. Nice. In iTerm you can have Tabs. I like that.
So I have not yet decided with terminal application I like best.
I would like to see what other people have to say when comparing these two applications. In order to answer this question I prefer that you have used both applications. One sided opinions are not very helpful. Which application do you like best and why.
You can also suggest other applications, however, as I was reminded on another thread, straying from Apple created/supported apps could turn problematic in the future.
Thanks,
Jonathan
