Hello,
I just installed the latest software for my iPod Touch 64GB.
The first attempt failed, but the second one went well.
Now, I tried to connect it with iTunes but it says that iTunes hasn't been able to identify the iPod!
Can someone help me out?

If a Mac
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X
For both
Make sure you have iTunes version 10.7 or later on your computer

I just installed the latest version for iTunes, it still doesn't work..
Did you remove and reinstall all the Apple software using the link I provided? That frequenlty resolves the problem
Well, I installed the latest version of itunes 5 minutes before I installed the software for my iPod..
I don't think that reinstalling it will pay off..
It is up to but following the instructions in the link frequently works.
Ill give it a try 😉
