Hey guys yet another question,
So I more or less fixed the bugs on my MBP, but still running into several problems mostly Internet based (slow browser). I'm using an MBP 2.53GHz and 4 GB RAM with OS X 10.5.8 running.
Now my question: Is there anyone who has upgraded to 10.6 and gotten any positive results? Or negative for that matter.
Or is there something else I should try?

You'll get mostly negative on this forum because most people are here troubleshooting their Mac. Don't let that dissuade you from upgrading. More important is to be backed up, and informed:

But in I could generally just go back to my 10.5 system if the 10.6 upgrade makes my problems worse?
If you have at least two clone backups, yes. If you don't it is not as easy.
Ok soooooo what do I need to do for that 😀 ain't that smart with the deeper going computer stuff
Read my link again, it explains how to backup your data. Cloning is the most reliable backup medium.
Ah yea okay thanks 🙂 maybe someone's still got something positive to say, after all trouble shooting leads to problems being solved 😉
