Resetting Safari 6 isn't resolving hangs

The exception has become the rule: Safari is hanging often, and can only be resolved on "force reloading"

I've tried resetting...but that is to no avail.

Can you help?

In another thread you said this:

safari 6 is giving me headaches all the time now. something that's happening often is an error message from SHockwave saying I need to boot in 32 bit mode

You need to click on your Hard Drive icon, upper right. Then press the Apple key along with the letter " i " key. (That's how you get info on a file. ) Down at the bottom of the top information, do you see two check boxes, one saying 'Open in 32-bit mode," and another saying "64 bit mode?" If you do, check the 32-bit mode box.
