iPhone App (Task KIller)

Does anyone know if there is an App for the iPhone 5 for closing multiple Apps at once, similar to the Task Killer from Android.

Well, how come when my Iphone is on stand by overnight with no apps running in background, battery life will go down 5% but if i have couple or many apps running in background and iphone on stand by overnight, battery will go down 35%.

Any ideas people??

Btw what's the point of having that list of "recently used apps"???

There is not, and there never will be, because Apple does not permit one app to control another. That capability would be a great enabler for viruses and worms; it shouldn't exist for Android, either.

Of course, there is no reason to ever close multiple apps at once on an iPhone (or even close them at all, except in very rare circumstances).

The apps on the Quick Launch ribbon are not running in the background; they are suspended and they use no power unless they receive a notification. The exception is apps that you want running in the background, such as streaming content or social networking apps. If you shut them down then the service they provide will stop.
