Wifi problems.

Yesterday I noticed that my wifi was turning on and off, and I restarted my ipod touch 4g and it stopped being stubborn. It does this off and on sometimes, and today while on a different wifi network it would not join at all. I assumed it was the wifi network and tried to forget the network, but forgot the password and could not rejoin. Now I'm back home and the wifi home will not work on my Ipod. It isn't the internet, it's the ipod not connecting. There are no blue bars and no network to connect to at all. I've done everything the forums say to do, help!

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on the router

- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
