My bookmarks menu has suddenly disappeared and I can get only full-page view in Safari. Any ideas how to get my bookmarks header back and a re-sizeable window?

Safari menu/View/Customize toolbar.
If that doesn't work, JBC, try pressing Command, Control, and the letter F keys all at the same time.
Thanks, Klaus, but the Safari menu is not visible. Each web page takes the entire page with nothing else visible.
Yep, you were in Full screen mode.
