| trying to restore apple tv 2nd generation when connecting it to iTunes and click "restore" it it telling me "device not found" but indeed in order for me to get to that step it is cause it was found | Any suggestions? |

You need to download the software restore, then restore. This is a known issue. Follow http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4488
