I selected "Deauthorize all computers with this Apple ID" by mistake. Help!

Few years ago I used my old laptop to buy songs from iTunes.

Now that computer is no longer in use, and I am using a new laptop for over a year now.

I recently downloaded the latest iTunes on my new laptop, and bought a couple of new songs.

My previously purchased songs are all in the Cloud, and when I tried to download them, an error message came up saying I have to authorize my computer before I can download previously purchased songs.

So I went to Accounts, where it gave me the option to De-authorize all computers with this Apple ID.
I read the support pages and wondered why this link was showing despite only ever had two computers (or three, if I count the desktop I had before my old laptop) and not five.

I selected the option anyway, thinking for some reason that I would be able to re-authorize my current laptop and dowlnload all my previous songs.

However this was not to be. My account now shows a message "0 computers are authorized to this Apple ID."

Where do I go from here?! I just want to authorize my current laptop and download my old songs!
I went to itunes support page and do the Turn Off User Account Controls (Windows Vista and Windows 7 Only) found in the Support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS13890and restarted the laptop twice by following the steps, but to no avail.
Please help!
