Sundry questions for Hero3

Just new to GoPro. Can I ask some questions:

1) I have Final Cut Pro 10 on the Mac - it seems to have a speed ramp setting, does this mean this software should be as good as any when taking a 60fps gopro video and do that gradual normal mode to slow, up to fast forward, in a nice steady linear ramp up of speed? (like on the gopro hero2 hero3 videos)

2) Protune / Final Cut Pro - Does Final Cut Pro 10 offer necessary editing features to make use of Protune? background

Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

I think you may need to find a GoPro forum. But "Retiming" tools in FCP X work with any footage. Protune is firmware inside the GoPro and I don't know what that has to do with the resulting clips once inside FCP X. Color grading is still color grading. Yep, I think we could find more info about the GoPro in a GoPro forum.
