I am on my 4 th macbook pro charger and it broke again due to wiring. i got it from ebay can i still ask apple to replace it ?

I need help i have had my laptop for 2 years AND AM ON MY 4TH CHARGER. the charger i got now is from ebay cause i can't afford apple's prices will they let me exchange it anyway

Power adapters are covered under the same warranty as the MacBook. If it has been two years then you would have needed to purchase AppleCare, otherwise it's out of warranty and will not be replaced.


Buying an aftermarket power adapter is risky because there are many counterfeit ones on the market. They may break prematurely and could even damage your MacBook. Take care of your power adapter and it will last for many years.
