Why doesn't the flash work on my iPad camera?

Trying to take pictures of some utility work outside where some sprinkler lines are located and my camera won't use the flash... It's dark outside so I really need it! Is there a setting or something that I need to turn on?

You are replyng to a 4 year old post.

Plus, clearly, you didn't understand this post.

This post is about LED flash (light) next to the camera lens on the backside panel of iPads.

No Apple iPads, other than the new 9.7 inch iPad Pro, have any LED flash next to camera lens on the iPad model's back camera.

No LED camera flash on almost all iPad models.

Again, the only iPad model that has a LED flash for its rear/back facing camera is the new 9.7 inch screen iPad Pro as this model iPad has the higher res 12 mp back facing camera that is the same camera setup that is, currently, available on the iPhone 6.

Yes, I am replying to a 4 year old post because after 4 years there is no camera flash except for the new iPad pro 9". I shockingly found out tonight that my iPad pro 12.9" did not have a flash. Of course this is my first experience with Apple, and to me it defis common since, but perhaps I've been jaded by tablets.

Thanks for your reply.

BTW....is there anyway to get a mouse to work on an iPad Pro without jailbreaking and adding a Cydia mouse app?
