My iPod touch 4th generation will not play music on my docking station any longer.

My ipod touch 4th generation will no longer play music on my docking station. This was never a problem in the past. It still charges on the docking station but as soon as it is connected, the music so silent on the ipod but no sound comes out of the docking station speakers. I thought maybe something was wrong with the docking station. Since it was still under warranty, the manufacturer replaced it with an identical one but I am still having the same problem. What could be causing this?

Does the manufactures say it will work with iOS 6.0.1? Someimtes an iOS update witll break compatibility

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

My iPod touch 4th generation will not play music on my docking station any longer.
