iCloud problem - no email for 20 hours

Hi, can anyone advise? I'm a journalist based in North London and have now been without iCloud email for almost 20 hours. I called Apple last night and they said they had a problem with iCloud/Mail for just 0.07% of their iCloud users (me included, presumably). My Web-based iCloud is okay, I think, but my Mac-based Mail can't receive/send anything. And my iCloud stuff (folders etc) has just DISAPPEARD. A bit frighting. And I keep getting this Alert: "There may be a problem with the mail server or networok. verify the settings for account "Cloud" or try again. The server returned the error: The connection to the server 'p02-imap.mail.me.com" on port 143 timed out."

Any thoughts? Mac Support is unavailable for several more hoursas it's 4.26am! I have tried to "verify" the settings but I'm also unsure of what that means - !

Thanks!

Adrian
