trying to send email from my phone I get error A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message failed because you exceeded your sending limit

I have email through CenturyLink, (q.com). Now on my iPhone 4s I get an error sometimes trying to send a email,

A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message failed because you exceeded your sending limit

I also use Microsoft Outlook on my home computer for the email. Sorry, I'm quite frustrated and tired. If I get a response I can provide more information. I see there are others that have posted with this same problem but didn't see an answer.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Sounds like you need to check with CenturyLink. Is it possible your email was too large?

yes, I checked with Century link. They say it's not them. I suspect the problem is with them, but 'm trying here.

The emails are small, and not many sent today, it's definitely not because I reached a size or volume limit with the emails.

Sometimes they are sent, as I've been sending several test emails (6kb or so) during the day.

I just sent 2 successfully, then another message I get the error.

That is definitely not an iPhone error message. Try deleting your CenturyLink account and setting it up again.

The same thing started to happen to me this morning and I have not been sending excessice amounts of email. I also have a q.com account. If anyone figures it out let me know.
