I am interested in getting the new macbook pro, but I have a white macbook since 2007. Can I sell it back to Apple? And if so, where do I go to see how much I would get for it and if I can?

Apple does not offer Trade - Ins.
Your best bet it to sell it privately.
Apple does have a Reuse and Recycling Program. They may offer you an Apple store gift card in return for your computer, but the amount is likely to be much smaller than you could get by selling it on your own. I have had success with selling older Macs on CraigsList.
