Copying my iTunes library to another computer

Hi, I'm not sure what I am doing so any help is appreciated!

My husband and I split recently and both have an Apple ID. Our iTunes library is under my details on my pc at home. He would like a copy of all our music to put on his iPhone.

Is it as simple as copying my library to an external drive, then him putting on his pc and transferring to the iPhone as normal?

Many thanks

Yes, you can just copy the entire folder where your music is presently stored to a HD and then copy that large folder to another computer. The only thing he has to do is tell iTunes where the new default audio library path is located ( this is where you put all your copied audio files). Once you set this new path as default then all future ripped CDs will automatically go to this location thus building your library.
