Iphone can't connect to Mac since itunes 11 install

my new iTunes 11 doesn't pick up iPhone 4 nor does the mac pick it up. I'm running OSX 10.7.5 , I looked at my activity monitor and saw that apple mobile device manager is not running. Where can I find a compatible download for my OSX version
