MacBook Air + Apple LED Cinema Display = Connection problems

My Apple LED Cinema Display (27" flat panel) soemtimes doesn't turn (back) on when it is connected (e.g. after restarting from the sleep modus) to my MacBook Air via Thunderbolt.

Previously, shutting down and starting or simply restarting the computer would solve the problem - butt currently nothing helps.

Any ideas?
