At the moment, I live in Sweden and want to buy an unlocked iPhone 5 from the US. Will it still work fine in Sweden? Can I use a Swedish charger for it or do I need to use the American charger with and adaptor?

Regarding LTE support you may need to check with your carrier for the LTE channel they operate.
There are iPhone models that operate in different LTE bands

When you buy make sure to buy a correct model
Again, a US iPhone 5 will only support LTE in North America...no where else, and there is only one model of the officially unlocked iPhone 5 available in the US, you don't have a choice.
Wjosten, are you telling that in US Apple sels only iPhone5 GSM A1428 models and not A1429 ?

That is the only officially unlocked iPhone 5 model available in the US & sold by Apple.
Not to sound stupid, what is LTE and what do I use it for? :) I use my phone for calling, texting and going online, I can do that without having access to LTE, right? And thanks for your previous answer, helped a lot! :)
LTE: Long Term Evolution, marketed as 4G LTE, high-speed data. Yes, your phone will work just fine without it. However, you need to be aware that one of the big features on the iPhone 5 is LTE support, & a US iPhone 5 will not support LTE in Europe.
