my ipad is frozen. nothing works. i can't restore it and the wifi is in airplane mode.

my i pad is frozen. I can't restore it. I took off icloud because it seemed to start after it was added. I also get an error message on start up saying that my Apple sync initiater exe did not have an entry point. i have tried to restore from itunes and i can't .
