Cisco X3000 Firmware and download/Updates apps with itunes/devices

You cannot download or update any apps on your idevice (Ipad,Iphone,Ipod) over wi-fi or through itunes on your PC. 😢

3 Symptoms :

  1. On your Device, you receive the message : "Cannot be downloaded at this time. Please try again later." or a another error message.
  2. On itunes, you receive : "A unknown error occurred (8328)".
  3. And you have a Cisco Linksys X2000 or X3000 router.

1 Solution :

Do not reset your Iphone/Ipad/Ipod or do not contact the apple Helpdesk because we found the solution with Cisco. 😎

It is simple :

  • You need to go the "user interface of your router" (by default 192.168.1.1) and enter your credential (user : admin / password by default : admin)
  • You go to the "security tab" and enable all firewalls (IPV4 and IPV6)
  • You do not forget to check the "Cookies" box (web filter). This is the solution in this case.

After you save the settings and you can now download/update with itunes or directly in your ipad.

Have a nice day.
