That URL leads only to a page, not coded properly as a feed, which says: 'This site is private. Please get the RSS feed url from the site.' The site linked to requires a login.

Is this your podcast? -

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/living-hope-word-church/id584248818?mt=2

This comes from a feed at

http://living-hope-word-church.posterous.com/private/1bfc3be660acd4fa7a27f44f2b7 f310d/rss.xml

however this feed is lacking the itunes declaration in the second line:

<rss xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" version="2.0">

and has no 'itunes:...' tags necessary to show the data you want.

This page includes a sample basic feed so you can see what one should look like:

You are making your feed in Posterous: I'm not familiar with it but as it's hosting the feed I doubt you can amend it manually. Posterous is not making a properly constructed podcast feed, and I'm afraid I can't advise on how you could go about correcting it. As things stand at the present your episodes will show OK but the artwork, duration, author and any other itunes specific tags won't show.

Libsyn seems to be OK, though it comes at a cost. Blogspot can work OK but there have been similar problems. WordPress is OK if used with the PodPress plugin. Note that you will need to make arrangements to move the Store to using the new feed, which may cause you difficulties - please see this page:

You don't have to resubmit the feed, just updating it will do and that's what I meant. However Posterous has made a right mess of things - it's added your tags as if they were text intended to be displayed. This looks messy and won't do you any good at all.

I suspect that Posterous is simply not capable of procucing a proper podcast feed, but you could try asking their Support (if any) if there is in fact a way of doing this properly.

Thanks for your help again, I have the artwork up now. I sent the feed through feedburner and was able to add the artwork to it. However, I am unsure how I will be able to individulize each project know. With me uploading a new project to the same blog page, how do I apply different description and etc. to the feed? I may not be making sense but I am trying to explain this to the best of my ability. This is my new feed.

You have managed to get the Store to recognize the Feedburner version of your feed and things are now looking a bit better. The overall entry for the podcast, and each episode, have their own 'itunes subtitle' and 'itunes:summary' tags. When you set up an episode there should be somewhere you can enter the data for these so that you can have individual entries for each episode.

The 'itunes:subtitle' appears in the line with the episode and should be kept to a few words or it will be truncated. the 'itunes:summary' appears when you click the 'i' button which appears when you select an episode. This can be much longer, but don't include any html. You can have paragraph returns, but keep to plain text or things will look messy. Don't use an ampersand ('&') as it causes problems - if you want to have one, substitute the code

&amp;

Otherwise avoid odd characters, in particular don't copy in 'curly quotes' from a word processing document.

Should I be able to enter the data for each episode in garageband (where I create and mixdown the project), on the blog site where I upload the project, or on feedburner where I was able to upload the photo. On feedburner, I was able to add the photo and a description; however, I feel this is just for the overall podcast not episodes. You told me that you are not real sure with posterous, but do you think if I add the tags there will the feed and itunes reconigize them? Thank you again. I think I am almost there. lol

You can't do this in GarageBand. You ought to be able to do it in Posterous, and it's possible you could do it in Feedburner (though it would be better to do it in the original feed) but I can't advise on either. Posterous is producing a very messy feed, even though it does work up to a point, and I have a gut feeling that they really don't know what they are doing, so whether this facility is available I don't know.

As you have now got the Store reading the Feedburner feed it's actually not that difficult to move to another podcasat creation service as all you have to do is tell Feedburner. However, the place to start is Posterous's episode creation pages, and their Help and/or Support (if any).
