how i know that my iphone5 is compatible with which type of network in United Kindom

I got a problem about the unlock of iphone5. My iphones is from UK. So to unlock they ask me "which type of network SIM is compatible". So how can i know that my iphones is compatible with which type of network?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

All iPhones will be compatible with GSM networks just about anywhere, assuming that the iPhone is indeed truly unlocked. For LTE, see:
