dhcp info is gone

DHCP numbers suddenly disappeared from an ipad 2 and a mac book yesterday and cannot get them back on the network.

other macs and an older ipad are working just fine.

I tried to enter the numbers from static but they keep getting wiped clean

any ideas?

I did restart all. with yhe ipad i forgot network reset network setting and did a hard reboot.

im using a linksys router.

The thing is, everything was working fine for all macs and ipads and iphones(wifi related) for a long time. no

trouble.

the only change was yesterday when the service provider cut off the service for a few hours. When it got

back on, I had the problem with the ipad 2 and the macbook.
