I have try to unlock my iphone3gs, we received an emailed from ATT our provider step how do & how do we know if the unlock is completed? it show some where or we need to start over again.Thank you.

Follow the instructions you were given by AT&T and restore the phone. You should get a message saying "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked".
That email from AT&T should have said that it may take awhile (24hrs or so) from the receipt of that notice before a restore will give you the succesfully unlocked notice that KiltedTim mentions. Last one I unlocked it wasn't until a full 48hrs after the AT&T email that it worked (previous one had worked within 12hrs of the receipt of the email).
after completed all steps, how can i find out if the unlock completed?
