    You cannot delete an AppleID once created.  Just don't use it anymore.

    on my iphone it keeps asking for the old apple ID password.  Like in music.  I have a new ID and password.

    All of the content that you bought with the old Apple ID requires the old Apple ID. The Apple ID is encoded into the licensed copies of the content on your phone. It cannot be removed. Apple will not transfer your content from the old Apple ID to your new Apple ID. Apple will not merge the content of your Apple IDs.

     

    Your iPhone must be authorized with the old Apple ID to play music or videos that you bought with that Apple ID. You must use that Apple ID to redownload the content that you bought with it, and to update apps that you bought with it.

     

    If you cannot recover the use of that Apple ID, then you will need to delete and abandon the content that you bought with that Apple ID.
