Hey there. Been working on my new machine for 4 months now and the Kona LHe has been working fine for me- viewing FCP component output on a monitor. Today was the first day I'd had to worry about using the analogue INPUTS on the LHe. Imagine my surprise when I go to change my capture settings in the digitization windown and see there are no AJA Kona analogue input options. Have I forgot to install something? Help!
All AJA output options seem to be working fine. Thanks

WOW !!! There was suppose to be absolutely no different between the LH and the LHe except the fact it fit in a PCIe slot.
I have the LH, and right now I double checked in the "Kona Utility Control Panel"
and if I click on "Inputs" I have a "Analog Input" option drop down window that gives me all the same analog input options I have for analog output options.
So this is weird. Double check the control panel as I described above, and make sure your not over looking something.,
According to Konas website and general advertisment, there is absolutely NO difference between the two cards except the obvious slot format.
Yes, the card does allow for analog inputs, I just can't see the options for them in my capture window in FCP. Also I can't see my 9pin listed in the device control window.
Well, lets see, are you running the latest driver for the Kona card that supports the FCP 5.1 ? I know you need that for complete flawless interaction between them.
