Thumbnails not expanding in finder

Power Mac 10.6.8 Thumbnails of photos have stopped expanding when column width is increased. I am getting a small image of the photo file which remains small size as the column is expanded. It previously expanded as column width increased. Installed a recent "security" update to OS and that seems to be when it happened.

I have laptop with exactly the same OS and it is still working fine - thumbnail photos expand correctly on the macbook.

Can someone please tell me what plist or other file needs replacing on the desktop computer to get expanding thumbnails back in the finder. Thanks.

Your info:

Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver 2002), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

I understand your issue, but the info that you provided is erroneous and does not allow for proper advice.

Once everyone knows what is being dealt with, then maybe help can be provided.

You have to provide correct info to allow correct advice.

Ad-hoc machine naming doesn't help "answer" your question.

Neither machine is a Power Mac nor a G4.

I will ask that the hosts move your thread to a more appropriate forum.

Did you trash the .plist that I showed you?
