I cannot send an outgoing email on my iPhone 5. Says "sending the message content to the server failed".

My brand new iPhone 5 will not let me send a email. It tries then comes up with an error message saying sending the message content to server failed.

I tried restarting my phone and that didn't help. Any suggestions?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1
