Compressor created QT movie results in Mac Mail Plug In Missing

I'm running OSX 10.7.5, Mac Pro, Compressor 3.5.3 and Mac Mail 5.3.

If I receive a QT video from someone via email, I can play it in my Mac Mail window.

However, if I compress any QT movie myself, with compressor and try to email it, Mac Mail displays a QT-PlugIn Missing.

The recepient also recieves a QT PlugIn Missing notification. However they can save it to their desktop and play it just fine.

If I compress a QT movie and save it to my desktop, it displays and plays correctly. However, if I try to put it into Mac Mail and email it, again I will get a Plug-In Missing notification.

The original QT movie was an 4444 Pro Res codec, it was compress to H.264, Audio and Video with Fast Start. Total file size is typically 3-4MB.

To summerize, if I compress any file to H.264 and try to email it I get a notification in Mac Mail that the QT plug-in is missing.

Thank you.

Any help is appreciated.
