Q: The Letter A in Caps is appearing in squares in my emails

When I open my emails and old emails there is are Capital A in a square in the email. Only thing done recently was downloading of Excel on my mMac Book Pro. How do I fix?

I think this is a font problem probably caused by having duplicate fonts. If you post your operating system version, hopefully your query can be directed to the proper forum, rather than this eMac forum which is a little off the beaten track.

Yep, as K.S. says or alludes to... Open Font Book, check for Duplicates & Validate all fonts.

Those solved threads report issues with third-party font managers.

I don't know if it applies to you as most reports of the probelm involve OS 10.6, which no eMac can run.
