I would really like to officially unlock my iPhone 4. My name is Sergey Shalin, i bought this phone on eBay, but I'm not the resident of USA, so I can't use it with local operators. My IMEI is012542002108774, i tried contacting AT&T via live chat, but had no luck. I will really appreciate your help on my problem.

Only the wireless carrier to which an iPhone is locked can unlock it.

Only the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize an unlock. If the phone is locked to AT&T and they refuse to unlock it, then I suggest returning the phone to the person you purchased it from and get one you can unlock or is already unlocked.
