Nokia HS-26W headset with OSX

Before I go and buy this headset, I just wanted to hear from any users here if they've had experiences with this particular make and model - and specifically I'd be interested in whether it works with Skype or not.

Any experiences, good or bad?

Go for the successor Nokia BH-200 if you do not miss the color options of the HS-26W (white, blac or pink). The BH-200 is smaller and has newer Bluetooth profiles. If your Nokia does not have the small power connector, better go for a Nokia HS-5xW like the HS-54W or HS-56W. No adapter for the power input required with one of those.

Personally, I do not like the HS-26W. It is easy scratch, its usability is 100% different from other headsets and it is Bluetooth visible all time. Do not like that. Someone like a neighbour could hijack the headset while not using it and listen to you all the time. Same applies for the Nokia BH-200. The HS-5xW are not affected by this.

If you do not have a Nokia mobile phone at all, please go for a Plantronics Bluetooth headset. The Nokia ones are just a bit more expensive, with a Nokia power input but bought by Nokia from other manufacturers anyway.
