I have no trouble receiving only sending email. I recieved a certificate error from my former .me accout expired. DO I need an updated certiicate for SSL? if so where and how can I find/downloard it? None of my smtp accounts work. I have 2 pop3 accounts and they will not work either. Any help would be appriciated.

POP is incoming, SMTP is outgoing: so your POP accounts are working.

Did you migrate your .me account to iCloud back in June/July?

Yes, I moved all before the cut off date but did not recive an updated certificate for Icloud that I know of. The problem stated about a week or so ago after downloading a security update.

I also have deleted the acounts and reloaded them but they will not let me use the quick setup and have to be added manually. any ideas why?

Yes, iCloud is not supported by Outlook, so it's manual setup, and no calendars or contacts.

I hve changed the settings and it states that Outlook can not find the serve. verify that server information is entered correctly in the account settigd, nd that your DNS setting in the network pane in the of the system preferences are correct.
