My ipad2 keeps losing its Network connection, what should I do?

My husband also has an ipad2 and his doesn't lose connection. I upgraded to the new 6.0.1 software and he didn't. It's very frustrating to constantly lose your network connection. When I go into settings, it's showing I have full bar and I'm connected. I still turn on and off my airplane mode to reboot it and it seems to work again for about ten min, sometimes less. I'm not sure what to do about it.
