how do I change icloud id on iphone when it is changed on my laptop?
Once I changed my id for iphone on laptop, it still shows a different icloud which precludes my mail coming in. How do I change the iphone id?

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. Note: deleting the account only deletes the account and any synced data from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
